anyone sign up for Sw@gbucks Visa checkout offer?

hi all - has anyone signed up for the SB Visa checkout offer for 500 SBs? You sign up and register a VISA card. But, I'm wondering if you actually need to use the account as part of the deal or can you just sign up? And are there any charges associated with said account? I'm not clear and wondering if anyone has done this and is it worth it. Thanks! Smile

    I saw it, but didn't sign up... it makes me a little nervous signing up for things and I didn't completely understand that one...

    I signed up for it. All you have to do is link a Visa branded credit or debit card to it. There are no charges, and no purchase is necessary. I had instant credit.

    buendia - i also feel nervous about signing up for things, esp with a credit card, but decided to go for it anyway! thanks FT75 for letting me know your experience. i guess we'll see what happens - it looks just like paypal, so i'm assuming it's the same type of service. already got the 500 SBs, too.
